The French—arguabley the most stylish people in the world. French style is the epitome of sophistication, and naturally, this extends to interiors. One thing that we love about French design is that you can blur the lines between super glam and an undone appeal with a nonchalant aesthetic.
For this week's blog, we've rounded up some of our favorite French-inspired interiors - some are rather elegant, while others lean towards a more laid-back, farmhouse look.
Most importantly, don't miss a special invitation to our upcoming event in collaboration with Scout Vintage, Summer in Provence: Oysters, Wine + Design! All information is down below at the very bottom of this page.

Inspired by Parisian restaurants, French Bistro Shelves, are made of metal and glass. For an industrial vibe, we lean towards iron; brass for a bit of glam. They provide a classic, enduring feel that will never go out of style.

For a touch of Parisian flair, we love bistro chairs. They have such a casual vibe and remind us of sitting in a french cafe where you can pull over an extra chair and stay to chat. They add the perfect bit of pretty charm to your kitchen nook or dining room, but also work outdoors.

Glamour is a major component of French interior design; it's rare to find a true Parisian home without several touches of gold, delicate moldings, and luxurious materials.

Although French homes are glamorous, they tend to not be over-styled. There’s always an element of undone-ness, whether that be a wrinkled linen duvet, a subdued color palette, or a plainly decorated room with a few vintage pieces and a grand chandelier. An easygoing, French farmhouse aesthetic is our fave!
