Royal Interiors - 5 London-based Designers We're Inspired By

May 22, 2018

Like much of the population, we totally indulged in the Royal Wedding...and enjoyed every minute of it. It was such a beautiful day and Megan Markle's aesthetic embodied class + understated elegance.

The Duchess of Sussex' wedding look reminded us of how much we love the feel of British design. It's the epitome of chic + timelessness!

Speaking of design inspiration from other countries, we're pleased to informally announce our next pop up event: we'll be hosting a special day on the Cape this July and the theme will be Summer in Provence...more details to follow.

Today, we're shining the spotlight on some of our design muses from across the pond!

1. ALL & NXTHING

A London-based studio, ALL & NXTHING is known for their use of both modern and reclaimed textures. Their designs retain honestly and character without sacrificing style and comfort. Lush velvets, moody paint shades, organic materials, hints of metallic, exposed pipes + more...we're swooning over this aesthetic!

2. LISETTE VOUTE

Chic + elegant, Lisette Voûte Designs of London seeks to bring charm, timelessness and understated sophistication to each detail and room. We love how her work takes on a relaxed approach to formal settings, creating such inviting, comfortable + BEAUTIFUL spaces.

3. SHANADE MCALLISTER FISHER

Fresh, bold + innovative, we're head-over-heels for the modern design style that is Shanade McAllister-Fisher. We love to stick to our bright whites and neutrals, but the lavish color palettes, textures and patterns used in these spaces are what makes them so special!

4. PLAIN ENGLISH DESIGN

The kitchen design masters...these traditional spaces are so pretty. But they go beyond that—Plain English specializes in what they call “rooms defined by the dignity of utility,” so they're very keen on storage space + clever detailing. Always impressed by their crisp, clean designs!

5. FIELD DAY STUDIO

That farmhouse style we simply adore! With so much attention to detail, Field Day Studio has this way of making their spaces look so authentic, organic and undesigned. In true UK fashion, like something out of a fairy tale.
