It's officially SPRING! The season of denim jackets and straw totes is among us (kinda...except for these random noreasters we're still getting here and there). In honor of welcoming the months ahead, we've put together a little "Spring Cleaning" checklist...we hope you enjoy, and that you're as excited for Springtime as we are!

SWAP OUT HEAVIER FABRICS AND TEXTILES:
Since we've made it through the arctic tundra (also known as winter), it's time to trade in the heavy faux-fur, flannel and velvet for light-weight cotton and linen materials. In regards to window treatments, opt for something lightweight and let that sunshine in!

DO AWAY WITH WINTERY SCENTS:
Give your space a little scent-ual makeover by swapping out those woodsy winter scents (like musky amber, balsam, patchouli, bergamot, ginger etc.) with lighter ones. We love citruses (such as grapefruit), botanicals (especially lavender, rose), crisp cucumber and herbal scents that evoke spring. Our forever fragrance muse? Jo Malone.

GREENERY, GREENERY, GREENERY!
House plants are soo necessary—they give breathe life into your home and give your interior an instant, springtime boost. Studio McGee knows...how gorgeous is this kitchen with it's lovely green additions?
HAVE FUN WITH PATTERNS:
With a new season comes new patterns like florals, polka dots, and pin stripes...and we couldn't be more excited to lively up our designs! Loving this sweet living room look by Harlowe James.
FENG SHUI IT UP!
Feng Shui seeks to harmonize individuals with their surrounding environment—a simple change can make all the difference! Even just altering the placement of a stationary piece (such as a love seat, a coffee table, a lamp etc.) can revitalize and refresh your space!
